The inDemand model easily explained: demand-driven and co-creation in digital health
Do you want to boost digital transformation in healthcare?
Are you longing for using your funds in a more efficient way?
The inDemand model is the answer!
At this video, we briefly explain what is the inDemand model and its two main approaches:
First, healthcare organisations take the lead, as they are the ones who identify their unmet needs, challenging the market to solve them. Then, a call for companies is launched looking only for the best providers to solve the problems detected. The selected companies receive funding to co-create, hand by hand with the healthcare organisations the innovative digital solutions. This process guarantees not only that the solutions are tailor-made but also that they are thoroughly tested and validated.
The two main outcomes of the inDemand model implementation are also stressed in the video:
- increasing of systematic identification and solving of unmet needs by health entities
- creation of business opportunities for innovative private companies
You will also learn about the implementation of the inDemand model in three pilot regions: Murcia (Spain), Oulu (Finland) and Paris (France). Given its success and because it can be replicated, the model is currently being adopted in twelve other regions across Europe. Altogether, they form the inDemand community.
